IBM / AI-Alliance (2024 - Present) 🔗

The AI Alliance is focused on fostering an open community and enabling open innovation in AI.

Data Prep Kit project

Data Prep Kit is an open source toolkit designed to accelerate and democratize data preparation and cleanup.

My contributions to the project:

  • Developed applications that showcase the capabilities of the Data Prep Kit (DPK)
  • Authored guides and tutorials to help users understand and leverage the kit’s features
  • Championed and implemented user-friendly APIs, improved examples, and enhanced documentation to streamline the developer experience
  • Provided ongoing feedback to the development team, directly influencing the product roadmap and new feature prioritization
  • Collected user and community feedback to identify pain points and shape future product enhancements
  • Organized and led workshops, hackathons, and conference presentations to promote open-source and drive adoption (see below)
  • Opened issues on GitHub to help track bugs, enhancements, and usability concerns
  • Submitted patches and pull requests to improve functionality, performance, and usability of the kit

AI-Alliance Office Hours

I co-created and co-host the AI Alliance Office Hours to support the community and foster collaboration. We feature talks about open source AI and community.
