I’m a software engineer, technical instructor, and entrepreneur. My background spans AI/ML, data engineering, distributed systems, big data, and cloud infrastructure.

My work brings together building software and helping others understand how to use it. I’ve shared that experience through books and technical writing, courses, and talks and hands-on workshops.
Today, I focus on making open-source AI practical for developers. I create examples and demos, contribute to open-source projects, and help developers work through questions as they build. I bring their feedback to engineering and product teams to improve the developer experience.
I also organize Silicon Valley GenAI and other community programs, where developers learn, experiment, and share what they’re building.
